Poet, writer and broadcaster Steve Stockman has written “Rarely do you find a record that is deeply personal but socially vital. “

Reviewer Chris Goan writes “I am just sitting listening to Sams new Album, Cowboys and Moonbeams, which arrived in the post today. It it is sublime. The musicianship is lovely, with all the ingredients that I love- fine guitar with understated piano and touches of dobro and steel. Much more however, the songs are saturated with a kind of broken beautiful humanity- the kind that breaks you open a little. Sam Hill is one of the most talented musicians and songwriters I have ever heard.

You can read the full reviews on Sam’s website, where you will also be able to keep up to date with his forthcoming touring and concert schedule.

Octoberfest….! Welcome Sam Hill Jr.

October news…… Autumn is coming (Fall if you are in America or Canada) and celebrations are underway from Munich to Knoxville and beyond. We take comfort in the fact that the finest ales, liquers and wines were, and still are, made by monks. And while we are on the subject of celebration……

We welcome Sam Hill Jr. to Little Room Music Publishing, and are celebrating his forthcoming new album release, “Cowboys And Moonbeams”. We will be helping Sam to promote his album and publicise his latest touring and concert dates across the UK. Sam said in a recent interview, “The album is my most honest work to date with one dominant theme; love and commitment in the face of life’s’ struggle, and each song is a real conversation with those closest to me. I’ve tried to connect the words with simple melodies and minimal production. Much of the album was recorded at home in Cornwall and other locations including Somerset, Lancashire and Nashville TN. The music nods towards bluegrass and folk, but is hard to put into any one box”

We’ll keep you up to date with news of the release date and his forthcoming concerts, and also hope to introduce you to some of his back catalogue of great songs and music. You can stay in touch with him at www.samhilljr.co.uk and read more about the forthcoming album release on his profile page.
