February News

Rain, wind, flooding ….and big snow storms in the USA. Time for some uplifting and transforming Electronica from Mr. Don to lift our spirits and inspire us. We have put a selection of his albums on our homepage so that you can get acquainted with his music. His original and unique approach makes those long drives through the night feel like a journey to another planet!

February sees the last few details and touches being added to Charlotte Parmiter’s folk album. Final edits and overdubs are nearly complete. The hard drives will be sent across the Atlantic to London at the end of the month for work on the mixes to begin. Jon Kelly, one of England’s finest producers (The Beautiful South, Prefab Sprout, Deacon Blue, Kate Bush and many more) will begin working on the tracks in March.

Happy Valentines Day!

Have fun celebrating love, life, and the patron saint of lovers everywhere, Saint Valentine, who was a priest (possibly a Bishop) in Rome, circa AD329. It is said that he was martyred under the Emperor Claudius because he conducted marriage services for the soldiers, thereby breaking the Emperors law forbidding his soldiers to marry.

Won’t You Be My Valentine is now released worldwide as a single on all major Digital Music Sites including iTunes and Amazon. You can also download the individual re-mixes by Mark Edwards (Club Mix & EuroTrash mix)  or the complete three track EP.

December news…Christmas is coming!

Welcome to winter. The snow has already been falling on both sides of the Atlantic. The season of peace on earth and goodwill to all people approaches. That would indeed be the best Christmas gift of all to see being given around our troubled globe.

On the 10th of December Radio i105.3 releases a fundraising album for KARM (Knoxville Area Rescue Ministry), a charity helping with the homeless that provides shelter and support for those in difficulty.  The album features songs from many of Knoxville’s resident artists, and also includes a new recording of ‘In The Bleak Midwinter’ by David Clifton. We’ll post the track on his home page, and all income from sales will be given to KARMS.  We will also give you a link to the full album download and purchase page, and keep you updated with other events as December rolls on.
